I love this idea. I think if you could have used a little more light so that the detail would have been slightly sharper this would have been more effective. having said that, I can also understand how the softer light is effective as well. Nice work. karmat

This is a great idea. Faster shutter speed is a must and move the background light closer for softer appearance. You want to see all the colors in the flame. Overall a great idea. Good thinking. You get a 6

Outstanding idea. The flame is a bit overexposed, which may have been done on purpose. I don't feel it's too distracting that I'm going to take off 5 points or anything. The framing is good, the lighting isn't bad, but could've been better on the right side. Nice idea, good luck - Inspzil
