Some stronger colors could give it a little more "DPC friendliness", but this is an outstanding street portrait, nonetheless.

IMNSHO, a slightly different angle more across the loom eliminating the gap on the right would have made a great deal of difference.....just subjectively, of course.....5

Very effective angle. You bring us not only closer to her, but her occupation too.

good point of view, but looks more like a holiday snapshot than a well thought out image...the scene has much more potential

must have been in China? very interesting...I almost think that I would have cropped out the right side of the picture...as much as possible and made the lines of the weaving pull you into the isolated picture...just a thought

Another shot in the challenge that I could see in a Nat Geo Mag, very nicely captured.

Great title thats plays into the cultural tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. You show me this woman at work weaving but you do so at an angle that is visually interesting. I get to see the patterns and the threads that either can be seen as extending out towards me or that my eye travels down the leading lines to see her hands at work. A very National Geographic type of shot capturing mood, feel, and culture of this asian region. Would be most curious to find out where this location is once rollover happens.

This one tells a beautiful story and captured my interest far more than the "pretty" landscapes and insects on flowers! Good going! 8

I like the desaturated look in this shot, gives it a rustic feel. Great composition too, using the lines to draw the viewer toward the weaver.

Nice angle to subject. IMO could have gone even farther to her right getting rid of some of the distraction in the right of the frame.
