I saw this on somebodies portfolio recently..and I liked that shot as it was. This raises the level for me seriously. Wow. The sky is magic with the clouds and sun/colours. Comp if I can recal the other one is stronger here than the other one. Im sure this is the same tree/photographer since the title would seem to imply previous shoots. Curious to see who this is. 8
Good processing on this, although the edging on the portions is a bit hard, and the HDR would have been better just a little more muted here. (although, granted that is only my opinion, and this is, no doubt, eye candy..).. With that being said, my "gut" reaction to the photo was very much a positive reaction.
I like the idea...the clouds look a little off though....cant quiet figure out what doesnt seem to fit in the photograph...perhaps the darkness of the clouds in the front?
the layered, dramatic sky really adds a lot to this. i think i would have turned down the green saturation a smidge and let those dark clouds directly behind the tree pass a bit, but otherwise this is a very enchanting image.
A great return to this tree Vlado...........Great composition and a great sky in the image.......The green grass is just a touch overdone on my monitor which might hurt the scores in a very strong field here. other than that, a great image and glad you went with this one.........not voting on it though!!
This is nice, but for me you've gone a bit over the top on the processing across the sky. The green area and the tree are well done, but the clouds, especially the yellow area and the ones along the horizon, have begun to look a bit weird.
The other telling factor is that the area behind the tree is much smoother and appears to glow in comparison.
