My fav lighthouse...again...what a day at Lake Michigan. We may get this combination once a winter - with high wind and waves, lots of ice and for a few minutes the sun!!!

Congratulations on a fine image and a fine finish in this demanding competition. With a 6.58 finish, you don't need much of a critique from the likes of me, so I'll just say you deserve an extra prize for getting out there in weather like that!
This review also gave me the chance to look at some of your other work. I must say your Dancing birds not only made me laugh but made me gasp with the (apparent) ease in which you made the capture. Difficult beyond belief!
Well, since there is 'nothing to critique here' I guess I must move along to the next image in the queue.
Though the wave here isn't as powerful as in your free study entry, I think this is a bolder (or maybe just sharper) view. The tower really stands out.
How wonderful, that looks positively freezing! You did an excellent job with this shot, the only small detraction is the color of the water, although it is probably true to the scene, a slight color adjustment here might have really made an incredible difference... Maybe.. I still really like the shot, 7 ok with you?

it seems to be like the red ribbon of 2008 best challenge (in my fav)... maybe i prefer this composition, so i give you an high vote... the place is fantastic!
