Taken with the 30D last summer while my 50D was on loan to my favorite son.
Captured Quite early on the first of the three Vermillion lakes near Banff.
I kind of like the way the light turned out here and most often photos from here include "Mount Rundle" but this one doesn't so its kinda special, and one of my favorites from last year.

I feel that the post processing let this shot down. I need to see the original shots to be able to comment better. Looking at this shot which I feel may have good potential, the lack of details in the masses of darkness really let's it down (at least on my screen), 5
This is such a beautifull setting but we have to much dark in the lower half + the mountains - I want more detail there. Notice some halos in the sky which breaks this down a bit for me.
