obviously not technically perfect, but I was amused at the capture - a junco had taken a sunflower seed up to the top of this crusty-snow-covered roof and tried to crack it open, only to lose his grip on it and watch it tumble down the slope. First he tried running after it; then, as it threatened to go right off the edge, he made a last desperate airborne lunge for it, captured here. Alas, he never caught the errant seed, and so had to return to scavenging under the feeder.
