This reminds me, I'd like to see a "Panorama" challenge. But in this, I don't think the roof is a strong enough subject. Maybe you should have gotten closer so you can see more of the barn.
Looking at this a second time. Too bad a larger version couldn't have been uploaded and displayed. That would have given the picture the impact it deserved - matted and framed it would be winner. Probably looks nice on your monitor!
I like the composition but it is awfully small. I imagine that is because of the panoramic effect. It is hard to get a panorama with a 640 pixel maximum, I imagine. It looks like this has nice crisp detail but it is really hard to tell from the small size. Sorry.
I like the cropping and the way the farm's roof is sillouhetted against the dark treeline. A shame this site only allows 640 pixel size because this is one of those photos where bigger is better.
