Congrats on the ribbon, very well done and powerful image.

Great work, Zi! The woman herself is a strong enough presence, but the geese really are the icing on the cake. Well done.

Congrats on the well-deserved blue. The woman by herself would have done very well, but the presence of the geese really takes it to the top.

Congrats, Zi -- I was one of your "9" votes. Terrific shot, the geese are a wonderful element.

She's 80?? She's gonna live to be 120. Fine, fine photograph and by FAR the best of show. Congratulations on a very well deserved blue!

Oh, what a charming photograph. (Can a photo be charming?) This is so lovely and the sepia works brilliantly. Nicely done.

Beautiful shot Wei, I love the subtle sepia tones. Well deserved Blue

Ohhhhhh. . . 1 in 7 billion indeed! I love the sweet, contented expression on her face. She is loving her time with her geese, isn't she.

Absolutely fantastic image and so worthy of the Blue. The character and grace of the woman just jumps off the screen.

Brilliant...what a great story happening here. I bet this lady has seen a lot in her lifetime...congrats

Three times happy: the picture itself, the good voice of the people, and the master of fun's seal of approval. We should all have a sip of tea and retire with a breath of sweetness.

Double whammy, the real blue and the Posthumous Blue, can't get better than that really. Well done, it is a truly wonderful image.

I'm also glad this won. It's not often when you come across a blue ribbon winner where the wow factor was in it's authenticity. No wonder it also took the Posthumous Blue Ribbon. Congratulations!Message edited by author 2010-01-13 00:29:13.

This is probably going to get other ribbons as well, but I just can't help myself. It's clearly the best picture and best fulfillment of the challenge, even if there are tons of women who walk their geese all over town.
