This is the beam of light on the back side of a computer CD (compact disk). This shot was taken under fairly dim lighting, and with a flash.
I call it plasmatic repulsion because it appears that the center beam of light is being repelled onto either side of the picture, creating 2 colors (red and blue). Sort of like electric charge, where like charges repel. Here it seems different colors repel!
