This is my daughter, Jessica. She was born on the 9th of November, so I thought I'd play on the theme of the challenge in my title, but it might not be entirely accurate (actually, it should be closer to #6,987,600,000 according to Wolfram|Alpha)! The preparation to have a five minute window when your naked, two-month old daughter is awake and won't complain is quite labour-intensive: it started at 11 o'clock the night before!
Cropped and basic stuff in ACR, then imported into Photoshop, defined the background as white in levels and bumped it a little in curves. Then I cloned out some dry skin and milk spots and dodged/burned her eyes to make them a little brighter. I then masked out everything except the eyes and sharpened them, then masked them out and did a pass with Noise Ninja. Converted to black and white, sharpened and saved for web.

Everything is so perfect, but if there was one thing I would change it's that arm on the left behind the head. That's just a small nitpick though. Great job!
Sorry about the wait for your critique, this is coming out of the backlog!
Another image of yours, this one is much more difficult to try to critique hehe.
What is there to even say about this picture? You placed 6th in a challenge with a lot of great entries, one of my favourites in the contest, and I'd have to say the best photo of a baby I've ever seen!

Linda!
Not as much as mine of course ;) but every Dad will tell you so.
Congratulations for such a high place in the challenge with the toughest competition I've ever seen since I joined.
P.S. As I commented before, the tittle alone deserved a ribbon!
Amazing DOF, great definition. She happens in fact once in a lifetime :)
Nice high-key, even love the small bumps in the sheet below. Just a superb look on this one!
