Shot with the Leica for the mini side challenge

Shot just after Christmas on a very blustery day. Tonemapped from a single raw file and a light application of glamour glow from Nik Colour

It was amazing to see this score so well. I was on the beach for less than 10 mins because suddenly there was cloud burst and it started pouring with rain. I could see it coming but really wanted to use this lighthouse for this challenge. Glad I did now as the team Leica won the little head to head competition.

The dreamy processing of the image for me does not work. I am sure many people enjoy it but for me it seems the photography loses its essence and becomes more of a digital illustration then a photography. It appears too unreal for me.
