Nice textures and the title tells me how it fits the challenge. I'm afraid the photo as a whole is not working for me, however. One issue is that the glare on the shrubs in the upper right pulls my eye away from the main subject.

They look just like a lot of collapsed umbrellas, and I guess they are performing the same function as umbrellas too.
