I took the cable car up to the highest peak in my area.. where I live is somewhere between the center point and the left side of the image... not much help :P I would have liked full darkness for this but the cable car back down finished at 7pm... I payed dearly even for this shot running down 600 odd uneven stairs back to the cable car station.
Wow! That's quite the view! And don't you hate that these places never quite accomodate photographers? There's a wonderful tower in Frankfurt I'd love to shoot from first thing in the morning, but they don't start running the elevator until 10 AM. And you can't shoot at night in the summer. You can in the winter, but it's REALLY cold up there!
