This is a wonderful photo, deserving of the blue ribbon, even if it doesn't have any dead mice with cheese in it somewhere. It doesn't, right?

Excellent work. I love your balance of lighting. The control of DOF is awesome too. Great scene you've put together. Hope you ribbon!

I've always fallen for rule breakers and this is one of my favorites.
Post actions
The moment wonderfully caught. My pic for the blue.
Post actions
Great shot, might be better with shorter DOF ... or not.
Post actions
Very good, a contender. Nice light, nice color, nice fresh snow, nice...

I am sensing a BLUE! Great shot!!

A young couple, happy & oblivious in their affection for one another, surrounded by the Christmas hustle & bustle of the Big City that never sleeps. There is a vibrant, delightful, kinetic energy about this which gladdens the Heart and the newfallen snow adds to the feeling. The Lion King looks on & Pepsi wishes them a Good & Happy 2010.

Great shot and meets the challenge well.

really good shot of a happy couple. I don't thing the back ground adds much to the shot so I would have used a long lens wide open to blur it. I would have also got the lady to tie her hair back so you can see her face if possible.
Post actions
Excellent exposure, dof and composition. Unique shot in a sea of boring images.

LOVE the decisive moment. 8
