This isn't going to do well.... many people don't like to see pets, the background is too busy, and there are probably a dozen other things wrong with it.
However, it truly fits the challenge, and I wanted to show off my new baby :-)
The black one is my Lucy - a 10 week old miniature poodle, and she is ADORABLE !!!

You've coped well with the contrast between the black and white. I just wish the background was less distracting and I hope that after the challenge is over you post a picture that shows what the white thing is! because as you've presented it, I can't make out what I'm looking at.
