Collection: 2009
Camera: Canon EOS-5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f1.2 L

Galleries: Black and White
Date Uploaded: Dec 13, 2009

December 12th was my birthday. I can post what I want.

[Dec. 24th, 2009 09:49:47 AM]

I realize this doesn't show much actual decay. But it was my first day out with this lens and I really liked the picture so I chose it over some other, to me more boring, possiblities.
These are some of the tools that the owners are using to fixup their old shed (off to the right).

This doesn't convey decay to me too much. These items just seem out of context and I'm not getting the whole picture. But I'm still giving it a 7 because I love the light, shadows, and the dof.

One of my favorites of the challenge. An image pleasing to look at, but also makes the viewer think...hopefully...very nice.

Nice image in its own right, I just am not getting a feeling of rural decay conveyed from it......5

This would look good in a black and white challenge.

A stretch in my mind for this challenge. I'd prefer to see what needs repairing.

I'm lost here...Where is the challenge idea? The picture is well framed and very clear. The use of B&W works very well here.
