i am a big fan of this as a concept - i just wonder if 'the prayer' being slightly off center works against you a bit. although, the rest of the image is so centered and maybe that helps me linger more...not sure still...

Shame model is just off center and the light on the LHS wall makes it feel a little lop sided.
