Challenge: Contre-Jour II (Basic Editing)
Collection: Landscapes
Camera: Canon EOS-5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS
Location: Birmingham, England
Date: Dec 4, 2009
Aperture: f/22
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/80
Galleries: Landscape, Black and White
Date Uploaded: Dec 8, 2009

Not an HDR image but probably an unnecessarily long edit - just kept playing until I got something I didn't hate.

Pre-voting predictions - 5.95 with some dislike of the lens flare and the messy foreground (my feet were already getting wet here). The clouds will probably be a hit though!

I'll put my crystal ball away now.

Looking at past Contre-Jour, and found this, it's excellent.

Very cool shot - i just wonder if the b/w cost you a bit on score - although I like it a lot personally.

I think this is becoming a cliche title. Perhaps I am just starting to notice it since I used it myself.

Awesome clouds and a good capture.

I'm more interested in the tree on the RHS with the sky behind to notice much else!

As it is the LHS is a bit distracting.
