I took about 40 photographs of the backgammon set and wine but none of them really stood out as a winner. I then added the candle and started experimenting with longer exposures. The hand throwing the dice is my wife who had just about reached the end of her tether with me trying to tell her exactly where to throw the dice. I painted the background with my torch to eliminate the hard shadow that was created by the flash on the camera.

Nice image very interesting. I do think you could have withstood a little more light here.
Overall the image grabs my attention and holds it, but I think what hurt you is the average viewer doesn't see the connection easily to the challenge Choices, leaving it very weak as for meeting the challenge.
People cann find original idea anymore.... way too much pepsi-coke picture.... for me even if the picture is OK, having 10 of the make all of the 1, sorry !
