Infrared! The recent challenges are against us. Selective desat, newsprint, color portrait. Anyways, nice shot and a great take on the challenge.

The lighting in this image is very powerful. I love the shadows in the foreground. The subtle tones in the sky really add a sense of depth as well.

Hope you offer this one as a print. It is so visually moving. I love the lighting, while some might not like that very thing. I will be looking to see how this done. I would like to see it get a ribbon.

The sun flare and the deep dark shadows in the image kill it plus the over shot white the exposure was not good over all. You should have used a fill flash in your shadow areas. Interesting entangled nightmare of a composition though. The image would have been really involving the viewer if those to things were fixed.
