Close up of a feather - never saw the fine little feathers between the "ribs" before. I just mounted this feather on a small stand and put my macro lens as close to the feather as could - and stilll maintain focus. I tried various colors, and like the orange the best.

Excellent repeating patterns and diagonals and the contrasting but close colours are both warm and pleasant. The feather split on the upper left has uniform endings while the one on the right does not, having long and short ends. The black background makes this beautiful. Well done photograph.
