While it's technically well taken, I find the composition doesn't quite work for me. I think I'd rather have seen the bassoon at more of an angle across the frame rather than horizontal, especially as you've cropped off both ends.
Is there any time left to actually play it, though? That really looks like way too much work. I'll stick to sax and a box of Ricos. As far as the photo goes, I'm not a big fan of the lighting, and the environment looks a bit sterile. The arrangement feels awkward and static.
