I was lucky enough to score a trip on this magnificent beast that coincided with this challenge. It's the AC16 221A which was built in the USA and exported to Australia. It was restored to it's original beauty last year at the Ipswich workshops.
Post processing includes shadow/highlights, contrast, curves, sharpening and conversion to grayscale via PS channel mixer to increase contrast. Cloned out an annoying clump of grass beside the track just in front of the engine. White vignetting was then applied and a sepia tone applied to the entire image.

Thanks to all who voted and left comments. This is a PB for me and I'm rapped.
I'm with you Lafaminit, a 1 is a bit rough but you get that. Sepia isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love it where appropriate.
This steam engine is a magnificent piece of engineering and has been restored beautifully. I was sooo happy that I could photograph it in its full glory.
I absolutly love the shot, I think its awesome. I am very suprised you went with the faded border, to me there is no reason to....its an exellent shot as is....oh well good luck !
Very nice. Feels like a Courior & Ives print. I like the blurred white circular border and the way it gives an other worldly feel to the subject. It also enhances the contrast of the photo which is quite effective. Hope this does well.
Really great shot, I love the framing, the use of sepia tones, and the effect of the faded border... not sure if its legal but I'll leave that for other people to worry about. Top 10 Photo...
