Wasn't going to enter this but just got back from a long weekend and was checking the shots I took pre-dawn this morning. With 10 minutes to go I thought this might give me an interest this week.

Striking b&w beach scene. Lovely tones, contrast and detail. Those beams of light probing the sky add a nice touch. 10

A wee bit dark for me. The scene looks pretty cool but there is a lack of contrast that detracts from the image

Wow that light is amazing! Great contrasts but a little too dark for my liking overall.

Thanks for not including the water - which to me, would have turned it into something less then a 'Landscape'. 9

I get the impression it was cold then.
The horizontal streaks of light look kind of odd - a more starry effect would have looked better, I think.

This is really cool. I don't understand the linear slant to the light beams. I really like the darkness in this shot.

since this is an advanced editing challenge...IMO I would have removed the tire and the person(s) in the picture...such a great shot

Nice B&W conversion. I like the use of a filter (I'm guessing) for the light effect. Nice image.
