The people in the background are distracting and this photo really doesn't fit the landscape challenge IMO. You chose to focus on leaves and a branch rather than focus on a larger landscape area. By using a wider aperture and blurring the background it really weakens the shot. Please don't take it as being critical because I'm just trying to give my advice. Good luck!
Interesting idea, but I feel the bright reflection from the water on the path is a bit distracting and those people obviously having a conversation rather contradict the silence in your title.
