I'm not sure what creates the "hole" - whether the panning or the soft focus insert, but I really like the effect. Your challenge entry is even better.

This one makes me feel like I've been lost in the woods and I'm hallucinating. I feel desperation in this image; maybe from the perspective of looking up, the blur (losing it), and being beaten down by the sun... My imagination again.
