 thought i would break the rules a little. wanted tension in the image where the viewer wants to look into the sun but continues to be drawn back to the main subject. blown out whites and black blacks!

Very well orchestrated, OOB idea and execution for a challenge awash with great photos but boring stereotypes. Only fault are those blown highlights...hard to control in Basic Editing I know...bumped to 8

Also, the fact that you completely burned the shadows and the highlights actually makes it more interesting to me :)
