I took my lovely wife out to a park close to home, along with my 580 EX II, a lightstand, my Lumiquest Softbox III (set up off-camera right), and fired with my CyberSyncs. We made several dozen images that afternoon, many of which came out very nice. This one is her personal favourite...once the voting is over, I may put one or two others in my portfolio.
I think I might be getting better at Strobistry. Wish I had more time to work on it. Post processing included crop, resize, sharpen, Topaz/Pop Photo, and Imagenomic's Portraiture.

This is a nice portrait, but I feel that the jacket and scarf are a bit in the way here, they're sitting a little bulky on the model. Perhaps a change of stance would have helped.
Nice DOF and lighting. Eyes are more of a focus for me than the smile. Lovely portrait, but needs something different to set it apart from the crowd to score really high. 6
