I have been experimenting with my new 15mm fisheye. This is the path leading back from The Knob - a fabulous piece of land that juts out into Buzzards'a Bay off Woods Hole. The Nor'Easter had passed and it became one of the finest Fall days on the Cape. 640 pixel really kills this image.
Camera Raw adjustments for luminance, shadow fill, vibrancy. CS4: selective color, levels, shadow/highlight, sharpen. No crop; as framed.

This is a great photo. You did very well in choosing the location with the fisheye. Im not surprised this finished so low in the challenge, considering your audience. However, I hope you're not discouraged because i think this is great. You used the terrain and the effect the lens provided and came up with a true work of art.
I think this is one of the most effective uses of a fisheye lens that I've seen. The distortion actually adds to the image instead of simply being an artifact of the lens being used. Love how all the curves flow. Love how the clouds dot the skyline wayyy off in the distance.
I think that this one is going to finish high in this challenge because it is just so unusual, with the massive fisheye effect, and the huge leading line in it.
