Yeah, a pigeon. Officially throwing in the towel on trying to get a good score. Probably DNMC for all I know; no WOW; and a phreakin' pigeon. Hammer away.

I had a great deal of fun shooting that day, am liking the new lens, and very much like this picture, which is cropped more than I normally crop.

Good gosh, I suck! Who knew? Seriously! A 4.6?

[Oct. 14th, 2009 03:48:39 PM]

Full color - no desat. The wheel in the upper left is a stroller (they're hard core off-road vehicles here to deal with cobbles, don't you know) and I have it in there for the "into" part of the Into and Out of, you know? As in the reason the pigeon is moving smartly out of the frame?

OK, way too much explanation for a 2 second viewpoint, huh. I get it. This explains the score and my inability to serve up what the public wants. I get it. Doesn't mean I can incorporate that lesson in any way shape or form, though.

But on the huge plus side, this has moved up to 5.3+, which is downright awesome!

Glad to see this is your image. You know he left a present on that stroller or whatever it is. Slinking away as only a pigeon can!

A pigeon strutting his stuff. Very clever, though I wish that wheel wasn't in the background, and I'm still trying to figure out what that wheel is from too.

I might've done it in BW without the selective red. I love an animal in mid strut. I find that wheel in the upper left a bit distracting.
