This photo, blurry subject and all, really fills me with serenity. I like how the stick doesn't draw attention away from the abstract shapes of the sand and water.
The photo was taken at Walden Pond in Concord, MA. The sun had just set over the trees across the pond, yielding the great lighting that sets the mood for the photo.

The line and the stick are pointing towards the top left but as your eye follows the line it becomes blurrier - its a little disconcerting - maybe try rotating it 90 ?
This would be perfect if not for the blur. The soft, natural colors go well with the minimalism and the composition of the clean natural lines is beautiful.
