 Statue was placed on my couch, which was covered with black cloth. The window behind couch, supplied the back light. Camera was on tripod with remote release. Screw in close up filter was used, to increase magnification. Held piece of black cardboard just above the lens, to stop any unwanted flare. Image was cropped and resized in iphoto.

Nicely done, but a bit too pixelated. Maybe brightened too much in post-processing?

I think a bit more light is needed to properly illuminate such an abstract figure.
