 I hope this is dark enough for the challenge. I mean the majority of the image is almost black, but the amount of detail and highlight in the cross may be a little to strong for some voters. I'm liking this image, so this could either do really well or really bad.

Meets Challenge: 3 of 3. Very good!
Technical: 3 of 3. I like the detail in the texture of the ground. Glad it didn't get lost. Maybe consider cropping the left side in a little, like 15% of the width?
Emotion: 2 of 3. The title really helps the image (even though I'm probably not supposed to be judging the title). I like that "Lost" could be referring to the cross itself, or the person who so carelessly tossed it aside.

This photo is well exposed and meets the challenge. The only things I would change would be to move the cross further up so the "t" in the cross doesn't bisect the photo.......and I would not include so much of the chain (it's a little busy).
