The picture in my head is a lot better than the way this one turned out. I am not good with photo editing programs (I'm hopeless right now), so the only thing I did with this picture is crop it down and resize it.

A lot of high ISO grain, and the whole image seems soft and a visually flat. Perhaps some adjustments could help it a bit. Not sure though. I do feel a snack attack coming on, however, so this shot was effective in that regard.
I almost did NOT see the flame , would have scored it a 3. I finally saw the flame. It does need to stand out more, if you had changed the background to black then maybe you have had a more interesting shot. 5
