Nikita's a bengal cat and one characteristic of the breed (although it's not in all of them) is what's called 'glitter' in the coat. It's very hard to photograph but it shows up in this one a bit.
In sunlight it can look like she's been sprinkled with gold dust it's very pretty. It's something about how parts of some of the hairs are reflecting light.
