My wife had these sitting in a vase behind our couch and I thought they might make a good twisted shot. Nothing really special, but maybe it will work.

Some potential here. The primary object is worthy of consideration. Seeing the vase at the bottom doesn't help this photo IMO. The bg is a bit too neutral also for this subject (again IMO). The twisted pieces in the center of this arrangement would make a good close study. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Beautiful idea. If the vase were in sharp focus too I'd really love this. Still wonderful as is but the blurry vase really takes something away from it for me.
Kinda neat. I've taken some shots of similar decor, but not posted them. I find the conical item where my eye is drawn may be a bit too centered for my preferences.
