I have been finding with these shots of the old cars, that though my A530 handles noise reasonably well, it has more of an issue with JPEG artifacts. As some of the recipients of my comments know, I am a bit anal about that.
I wouldn't know a jpg artifact if I found one stuck to my glasses.
If you look st the sky right around the edges of the headlamp and windshield, you can see a grainy pixelation. These are JPEG compression artifacts. The result of the camera throwing out image data for the sake of a smaller file size.
