Maybe you haven't heard of this bridge, it is called the Golden Gate and is located in San Francisco. :P
Not the most textbook Deep DoF image, with no foreground object but I wanted to enter for the DPC Open.
Taken with ND110 10 stop neutral density filter and cropped heavily since I don't have a long zoom... yet ;-)
Post challenge: Wow, this was a surprise! I even told my girlfriend a few hours before this challenge started that I should go out and try to shoot something else because I didn't have anything. haha. Thanks everyone for the votes and comments. No 1s, 2s, or 3s!
If you would like to see more images with the ND110 filter I have a folder with them here.

Congrats Joe. Great shot. That bridge is just magic. I stayed in Berkeley for a year back in 1995 when I was 10. Man I wish I could go back there, this time with my camera in my hand.
It's that tower thingie that did it for you in this one. Congrats on more hardware to hang in the garage. (You do print the ribbons out, attach them to a hook and hang them somewhere, yes?)
Wow, so pretty, i've never seen this spectacular composition before. I keep thinkig how neat would it be to duplicate it with a car headlight trail along the road. It probably can be done with just one more ND and lucky timing. It may even be worth planting the car and synchronizing via cell phone. I hate not living in San Francisco. If this picture does not ribbon then none of them should. (not voting)
Superb. My favorite: first, it's beautiful - I love the colors, the softness of the fog vs the sharpness of the bridge & landscape. It actually is deep dof (strangely, this is unusual in this challenge), and the deep DOF is there for a reason & adds to the image. Good luck!
A hard subject to improve upon, given so many awesome shots of the Golden Gate floating around..... the clouds make it more interesting and the communications tower peaking over the top draws nicely from the color of the bridge
That's a hell of a view of my favorite bridge; I shot from that exact spot once myself.
It does raise certain questions re: the challenge topic, inasmuch as nothing in the foreground is particularly close, so we're arguably not really seeing "deep" DOF. On the other hand, it's shot with a long lens, and it wasn't easy to get the DOF as deep as you HAVE gotten it :-)
Anyway, I'm not an angels-on-heads-of-pins guy, so I just ignore that navel-gazing and give you a nice score. You're certainly MUCH closer to nailing the challenge than all the shallow-DOF shots I'm seeing :-)
Very cool image. I love the distant tower poking up above the fog. This will score well, but might have scored even better with an element in the immediate foreground. That would have clinched the ribbon. 9
This photo is simply awesome, I just wish you have captured more early in the day, the great shadow on the front mountain is kinda distracting but still well worth for a 9
