In NY for a wedding, had to kill some time and found this park. Searched DPC and saw that this location has been on here before. Lighting in the Gorge was difficult at best....BW conversion due to the blown out area beyond the bridge. Also didn't bring my tripod, so shooting 1/4 second was nearly impossible but ended up with a few sharp shots.
Expecting low 5's in the free study.

for the baghead in commenting....located in Watkins Glen State Park, NY
The whole park is about a 1.5 mile hike up the Gorge, this bridge marks the 1 mile point
taken at the same time as my entry in Deep DOF

This looks an awful lot like Watkins Glen....Very nice shot and great job capturing the person in the distance who appears to be taking a photo as well
Did you know that in Romanian, "cascador" (literal English translation: "cascader") means "stuntman," although "cascada" (cascade) means waterfall? I guess the stuntmen of yore were waterfall leapers. Poor guys... 9
I like the composition. A lower shutter speed (1 sec or even slower) would have given even more impact, i.m.o. It makes the water 'silky smooth' and creates atmosphere.
