This shot was taken at the Marshville Heritage Festival. Its a little historical village in Wainfleet Ontario. I actually went there for the car show but when I toured the grounds, it was there so I snapped it. I didn't have this challenge in mind when I shot it. Later when I got home though and went throught the shots, then I realized it was better than the idea I had for another shot. Glad I kept it!

I love this photo. I gave it a 10, and left a message, but my fingers must have not been working so great, and the message never came up. It brought back old memories for me when I went to Grammar school in California, especially the ink wells. The boys would often try to stick one of my pigtails in the ink well. If I remember correctly, I think the desk top used to raise up, and we kept our papers and pencils inside. Thank you for helping me remember the good old days with your nifty photo.
Now that is a classroom! I would love to teach in there! None of this whiteboard rubbish and boring windowless room I teach in now! Such inspiration in this room!

I didnt get a chance to vote on this challenge, and to be honest with you i only checked the thumbs out like 20 minutes before the challenge ended.. But this pic caught my attention! I actually said to myself "this is going to win!"

AWESOME! Is this the Historic Schoolhouse in Strawberry, AZ? My wife and I were just there a couple weeks ago (it's also a virtual geocache). I wish I could have made the trip back up to shoot for this challenge!
