An honest, if somewhat unflattering, portrait. I have to wonder about her nose -- is it the lighting that makes it look darker or a real feature? Minor quibbles/questions; it's really very good.
Sometimes I think this type of shot is overdone on DPC, but I've got to hand it to you. This is a really great portrait. Lots of character and detail. 9
Lovely character study with lots of expression and feeling. Her eyes and face show that her life has not always been a bed of roses. Excellent lighting.
I recognize this woman from another challenge but that does nothing to take away this photos impact ... fascinating face, well marked by time ... the lighting is excellent and I am mesmerized by her face. I envy you your model (ok and your skill too) 9
