 Just west of the Golden Spike National Monument, where railroad track construction coming from the west and east joined together as the transcontinental railroad. Diverging track in an empty landscape made me remember that alternate routes have their own rewards.

A lovely grainy shot with nice use of sepia. The overexposure in it really brings out and sharpens the lines.

Of all the train-track photos I like this one the best. The subdued color is subtle.. I can't tell if it's black and white or a very light sepia. Very cool.
