Nice! I think I would have preferred a slightly greater DOF to have the nose and mouth in focus too. The focus on they eyes is very sharp.

Nice cropping and excellent colors. I'd have given this a 9 if the nose had been in focus as the detail in the eyes is amazing.

The eyes are in sharp focus. That makes it less important that other part is out of focus though I would have liked the whole face to be in focus. Very nice shot. Dont know though how well it meets the challenge.
