Taken from the Jacksonville Pier. I drove through this storm (pretty torrential) to take a chance I wouldn't be in the middle of the storm by the time I got to the beach. It was actually still beautiful blue skies just before sunset when I got there, and I enjoyed about an hour of shooting as this storm encroached. Hurricane Bill had been churning up our seas and the surfers were out in force!
Original just tweaked the contrast and brightness with upping the exposure (forgot to put the bias back up from -1.0 after the sun went behind the clouds) to take off the blue cast. I didn't crop because I liked the surfer on the bottom and the hint of blue sky on the top. Slight horizon adjustment did crop some, however. Saturation nudged up also.
Please tell me what you think! My last shots with my G10 before it goes to its new owner... got my XSi in the mail 5 minutes ago!
