 I used a home made "studio" that's approx 17X17".
Remote flash from right, tungsten bulb from left with fill flash. Image is a needle with water drop. Only levels and crop done.

Nice idea and sharp focus on the drop of water. One thing that could make this photo better is getting rid of the two bright spots in the background. They are drawing attention away from the water droplet.

I like the idea, but the overall picture seems out of focus. It is hard for me to tell if the reflection is in focus as well.
