That's really not fair at all I think your picture deserved to come rather higher than 69th, for my money I think it is very amusing and works well with caption.
Well, I'm giving this a 5 because for me it comes across as so title dependent. But I wanted to say - what a cutie! That one definitely needs a tummy rub. He or she does look like one that provides a lot of fun.
I like the humor, but I'm sorry, I just can't see a cat fitting my definition of an appliance: "A device or instrument designed to perform a specific function, especially an electrical device, such as a toaster, for household use." and even though he/she certainly performs a specific function, it's just not a device or instrument. Sorry!
I'm going to be honest, I gave this shot a 3. The reason why is that I feel it is a shoehorn image. The only thing that remotely suggests appliances is the title.
