A crop, a slight levels adjustment and a touch more saturation (no hue adjustment), a bit of sharpening, and resizing. Pretty basic, really.

Thanks for all the votes and comments. ;-Þ I thought it might have a chance for a ribbon when the score was above 7, but then it dropped dramatically (as did everyone else's, apparently). The troll-scrubber scraped off 17 or 18 votes which brought the final score up about 0.1. And just for the record, my 250th challenge entry in 5 years, my fourth highest score.

Congrats on the ribbon, the new thumbnail for your profile page, and for your 250th challenge! Beautiful job, I gave it a decent score, but would have scored it higher if I hadn't wrongly assumed you had just adjusted the hue to make it look pink. :-D
hey david .. congrats on a fantastic and stunning image .. totally deserving the ribbon .. i'm surprised you didnt beat me especially considering that lots of ppl dont like insects .. interesting looking at the breakdown of votes too .. i wonder sometimes how ppl can have such diverse opinions about an image .. weird really ..
