I took this shot at Paint Storm in Ottawa. I used to work there, so taking shots during practice was welcome. I was up on scaffolding to have a great view of the field. Oh and it helped keep the paint at bay! The camera was on a tripod and panned with the action. A slow shutter speed was used and flash helped freeze the players. Be aware if you shoot this sport. Balls flying close to 200 mph and at 15 balls per second, can be crazy! Especially when 10 people are on the field! So watch the equipment and not just your camera gear!
