Set up camera on tripod. Used 2 speedlights for light. One on camera, to light hands. One low and behind hands, to light oil droplets. An interval timer was used, as my hands were covered in black face paint. So no touching the camera, till I was done. A bucket was placed below my hands, to catch the messy cooking oil. Also served as a basin, to scoop up the oil with my hands. Opening of the hands at the rite time was the challenge. It worked out great!
Image was flipped upside down in iphoto. Also removed a few loose oil drops. Resized. No other adjustments applied.
