I finally bought my first Digital Camera, so this is my first entry ever. A big thanks to everyone on the site who has contributed to the tutorials. I have learned loads about how to actually use Photoshop for actual photo editing, and I'm quite impressed by the results I've gotten on my first attempt.
I was having a hard time deciding which of the two challenges to enter this for, but ultimately I think this does a nice job showing both Life and Death in one image, so that's what I chose.

It seems that this is the branch of death, the leaf dies from a single touch. A little depth could improve, maybe some fading of the background to really bring attention to the focal point. Good concept.
